Foley Represents Major Investor in Miami Marlins Sale to Jeter/Sherman Group

Foley & Lardner LLP’s Sports Industry Team, led by partner and co-chair Kevin Schulz, is representing a significant investor in the purchase of Major League Baseball’s Miami Marlins by a group of investors led by former New York Yankees player Derek Jeter and venture capitalist Bruce Sherman. Other members of Foley’s team include Joe Derrigo and John Palmer.
The deal is expected to close in October 2017.
