Maloney Discusses His Career, Law and Construction Law
Partner Ryan Maloney was interviewed in a Jacksonville Daily Record article, “In the Law…C. Ryan Maloney, JBA Construction Law Committee” about his career path.
Maloney, who chairs the Jacksonville Bar Association’s Construction Law Committee, said he chose to become a lawyer because of two relatives who were lawyers and good role models. “Growing up, people often said I was good at arguing, and that I should be a lawyer. Whether those were really compliments or not, being a lawyer was always in the back of my mind.”
He eventually chose to practice in the construction law area after working with other Foley construction law lawyers, including Allan Clark, John Tucker and John Caven. “Over time, working on construction matters, I learned that I enjoyed the area of law, as well as the idea of working on matters involving tangible building and structures and working with the people in the industry that build them.”
