Foley & Lardner LLP served as legal advisor to Virginia-based publicly-traded company WidePoint Corporation (NYSE American: WYY), the leading provider of Trusted Mobility Management (TM2) specializing in Identity Management (IdM), Telecommunications Lifecycle Management, and Digital Billing & Analytics solutions, in its acquisition of IT Authorities, Inc. (ITA), a globally ranked Managed Service Provider (MSP), Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP), and Cloud Services Provider (CSP).
Founded in 1997, WidePoint has nearly 25 years of experience delivering secure, cloud-based, enterprise-wide information technology-based solutions that can enable commercial enterprises and government agencies to deploy fully compliant IT services in accordance with government-mandated regulations and advanced system requirements. The acquisition of ITA is expected to enhance WidePoint’s expertise in delivering IT as a Service (ITaaS) solutions to existing and prospective customers and expand its presence in the commercial enterprise sector, especially with small and mid-sized businesses.
