Foley Partner Byron McLain Selected to Los Angeles Business Journal’s 2022 ‘Top 100 Lawyers’ List
Foley & Lardner LLP is pleased to announce that Partner Byron McLain has been named to the Los Angeles Business Journal’s (LABJ) inaugural “Top 100 Lawyers” list. The award recognizes the region’s most impactful lawyers based on exceptional legal skill and achievements across the full spectrum of responsibility, exemplary leadership, and contributions to the Los Angeles community.
In the published profile, the LABJ notes that McLain is “personable and strongly adept at articulating complex issues in layman’s terms across industries and at understanding the business impact of the legal advice that he provides.” The LABJ also highlights McLain’s dedication to the community in which he lives and works, adding that he “provides pro bono service and support to a variety of organizations that promote the greater good, including the John M. Langston Bar Association (Los Angeles-based African-American bar organization).”
McLain is a litigation partner in Foley’s Los Angeles office. He is a member of the firm’s Government Enforcement Defense & Investigations, Securities Enforcement & Litigation, and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Practice Groups. McLain is also co-chair of Foley’s Racial Justice and Equity Practice.
