David Wright Discusses ‘Hot’ Utah Legal Market

Foley & Lardner LLP Partner David Wright is quoted in a Utah Business article, “A conversation with legal experts in Utah on industry pressures,” which provides highlights from a recent roundtable event where participants discussed pressures in the legal industry, DE&I initiatives, the hot Utah market, and more.

When asked why the Utah market is attractive to national firms, Wright said, “We have Utah companies that are doing very well in a global economy and a governor who is doing the right things to attract business to the state.” He continued, “I think what’s driving firms coming into town is the demand for legal services, and that demand’s been growing for several years. With the legal talent that we have here in Utah, I think it was just a natural evolution.”
