Foley & Lardner LLP Partner Joshua Roling has been named a “Rising Star in Law” by Biz Times Milwaukee. This award honors the young, talented individuals who are changing their firms, industries, and communities with their dedication in the inaugural “Rising Stars in Law” list.
Rising Stars in Law are the up-and-comers in Southeast Wisconsin who are innovating and leaving their mark on all corners of the profession through their legal talent, leadership in the law and community, and commitment to diversity and mentorship.
Roling is a member of Foley’s Real Estate Practice Group. His practice focuses on representing developers, investors, owners, and tenants in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions and sales, development, leasing, new market tax credit financing, tax increment financing, private placements, and zoning.
In addition to his traditional real estate practice, Roling has experience working on the acquisition, development, construction, and financing of wind, solar, hydro, biomass, and district energy projects, including negotiating site control documents, addressing title, survey and other development matters, and performing real estate due diligence for tax equity investments. He also counsels clients in connection with the real estate aspects of corporate mergers and acquisitions and has significant experience in multistate real estate portfolio transactions.
