Byron McLain Elected President of Harvard Law School Association Black Alumni Network
Foley & Lardner LLP is pleased to announce that partner Byron McLain has been elected President of the Harvard Law School Association Black Alumni Network.
McLain is a litigator and white-collar criminal defense lawyer who is a member of Foley’s Government Enforcement Defense & Investigations, Securities Enforcement & Litigation Practice Groups, as well as the firm’s Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance Team. McLain, who is co-chair of the firm’s Racial Justice and Equity Practice Group, was awarded the 2023 California Lawyer Attorney of the Year Award for his leadership in securing victory in the historic Bruce’s Beach case.
The Black Alumni Network aims to foster community among Black alumni of Harvard Law School, to promote diversity at all levels of the legal profession, and to harness the collective power of this group for the good of society.
