Foley Receives LIFT Insight Pathfinder Award for Impact as a Service Provider
Lightweight Innovations for Tomorrow (LIFT), the U.S. Department of Defense manufacturing innovation institute, named Foley & Lardner LLP as the recipient of its 2022 Pathfinder Award.

Foley was selected for having “provided the counsel and leadership needed to maintain a compliant back office and secure [the institute’s] place as a national leader in advanced manufacturing technology and talent development.”
The Foley Manufacturing Sector team who contributed to the efforts on behalf of LIFT included partners Pamela Brown, Katherine Califa, Steven Hilfinger, Jason Kohout, Jeffrey Kopp, Nicholas Lagerwall, Elizabeth Lamontagne, John Lazarus, Christopher Swift, and Erin Toomey, senior counsel Robert Okonowski, special counsel Jared Rifis, and associates Megan Chester, Brittany Ricciardi, Caitlin Trevillyan, and Allison Zweng.
Honorees were recognized at the LIFT Insight Awards program and reception as part of the Accelerating Advanced Materials and Manufacturing Exchange (A2M2X) conference in Detroit from October 17-19, the leading conference of industry leaders, innovators, and experts in materials science, manufacturing processes, systems engineering, and talent development.
