Foley & Lardner LLP represented Mozaic, a global payment platform for multi-party payouts, in its $20 million Series A funding round led by Volition Capital.
Mozaic is the world’s only split payments API providing smart contracts that automates split income among creative teams on any project, anywhere. The company’s core product is its API, which can easily plug into platforms such as Spotify, YouTube, Twitch, and other custom solutions.
Mozaic has raised more than $27 million to date and plans to use this latest raise to accelerate its split payments API and launch creator consumer products.
The Foley team was led by partner Natasha Allen and included partners Lyman Thai, Mark Plichta, and Leigh Riley, senior counsel Alicia Dorner, and associates Rossetti Farrell and Trevor Mullin.
