Kimberly Klinsport Named Among 2023 Women of Influence by L.A. Business First
Foley & Lardner LLP partner Kimberly Klinsport is named among L.A. Business First’s 2023 Women of Influence.
The Women of Influence program recognizes women making an impact professionally and personally. As one of ten honorees, Klinsport was selected from a cross-section of industry leaders in Los Angeles for her career accomplishments, charitable endeavors, and community engagement.
Klinsport is an active leader, both at Foley and within her Los Angeles community. Through her leadership roles as the managing partner of Foley’s Los Angeles office, litigation chair for the firm’s Los Angeles and San Diego offices, and co-chair of the Cybersecurity and Privacy area of focus within Foley’s national Innovative Technology sector, Klinsport stays ahead of the curve on emerging legal trends. Whether representing Fortune 100 companies in commercial disputes through trial or arbitration, advising on cybersecurity and data privacy concerns, or providing counsel on insurance coverage issues, she is equally comfortable proving client cases before juries and settling matters amicably out of court.
Klinsport is deeply committed to pro bono legal service. She currently serves on the board of directors for the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles (LAFLA) and previously served as an executive board member of the Associates Advisory Board for LAFLA from 2010-2018, chairing the board from 2016-2018. In addition to providing pro bono legal services through LAFLA and the Inner City Law Center, Klinsport has also handled multiple pro bono cases on behalf of veterans, adoptive parents in adoption proceedings, and clients undergoing sensitive guardianship proceedings.
Klinsport is profiled as part of the publication’s Women of Influence series here.
