Nathaniel Lacktman Comments on 2024 Direct-to-Consumer Telehealth Market
Nathaniel Lacktman, partner at Foley & Lardner LLP and chair of the firm’s national Telemedicine & Digital Health Industry Team, was quoted in the Modern Healthcare article, “Where is direct-to-consumer telehealth headed in 2024?,” discussing the direct-to-consumer telehealth market and what changes can be expected in light of higher interest rates, the rising cost of customer acquisition, and new uses of telemedicine.
Lacktman “remains optimistic” and commented that “the companies that remain standing are in a much better position heading into 2024.” He added, “It’s not as frothy as it was a few years ago, but I think that’s to be expected and is part of the maturation of this industry. We’re moving toward telemedicine becoming medicine and just another modality of care.”
