David Reinecke Named to Family Law & Estate Planning Powerlist by Wisconsin Law Journal
Foley & Lardner LLP partner David Reinecke is named to the Family Law & Estate Planning Attorneys Powerlist by the Wisconsin Law Journal.
Reinecke, profiled here, counsels and represents individuals and businesses in matters relating to tax and estate planning, business succession planning, marital property planning, the creation and administration of trusts, and probate administration. In addition, he represents individuals and businesses involved in adversarial proceedings with the Internal Revenue Service and the Wisconsin Department of Revenue.
“The aspect of estate planning I find most appealing,” Reinecke told Wisconsin Law Journal, “is creating strong bonds and personal relationships with the client and the client’s other trusted advisors to find the best tax and estate planning solution for each client’s unique situation. This trusted advisor role often leads to providing legal services to many generations.”
Reinecke is a recognized thought leader in his field and regularly lectures across the country and publishes on estate planning and taxation. He is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, where he served for ten years as the Wisconsin state chair, and he is affiliated with various other professional organizations.
Reinecke is also actively involved with his community and is a previous chair of the board of governors for the Madison Community Foundation and a past chair of the board of directors of the SSM St. Mary’s Foundation, in addition to service on numerous other non-profit and for-profit boards.
