In his interview with The Recorder, Wheeler emphasized Foley’s focus on growing the firm’s presence in the California fund formation market, where he said there is significant untapped potential.

“There’s a huge number of folks at VC and PE firms out here, but most people are having to go back to New York to get their advice,” Wheeler explained. “There’s only a handful of firms that people see as top-quality fund formation firms, and I really hope that we start becoming mentioned in that conversation. Foley’s well on its way to doing that.”
