Foley Represents nVent Electric in Agreement to Acquire Trachte for $695M
Foley & Larder LLP represented nVent Electric plc (nVent), a global leader in electrical connection and protection solutions, in its agreement to acquire the parent company of Trachte, LLC for $695 million, subject to customary adjustments.
Headquartered in Madison, Wisconsin, Trachte manufactures custom-engineered control building solutions designed to protect critical infrastructure assets. The acquisition of Trachte will expand nVent’s enclosures portfolio, enhance its system protection capabilities, and further strengthen its solutions in high-growth verticals, including utilities, data centers, and renewables.
The transaction is expected to close in the third quarter of 2024, subject to customary conditions, including regulatory approval.
