Jen Patton on Big Law Mental Health – 'Much work to be done, but Foley is committed'
Foley & Lardner LLP Chief Talent Officer Jen Patton discussed Foley’s commitment to supporting mental health and wellness in Law360.
Patton noted Foley’s “Confidant Connections” program, which connects colleagues together for support with those at the firm who share personal experiences, from struggling at work to handling things like an illness diagnosis, divorce, or grief.
“While there is still much work to be done to address the systemic pressures across the industry,” Patton said, “Foley is committed to continuing an open and honest dialogue, as well as investing in and providing adequate resources, to ensure our people prioritize their mental health and feel comfortable seeking help when they need it.”
Patton’s comments also appeared in a second Law360 article on mental health and wellness in the legal profession.
