Kevin Jackson Recognized Among Top Business Leaders Under 40 by San Diego Business Journal
Foley & Lardner LLP senior counsel Kevin Jackson is recognized by the San Diego Business Journal as among the next top business leaders under 40.
Jackson represents clients in a variety of labor and employment litigation matters across state and federal courts, as well as administrative actions before the EEOC, DOL, CRD, EDD, and DLSE. He has defended California employers against wage-and-hour class and representative actions involving claims under the California Labor Code and the Fair Labor Standards Act and has extensive experience defending employers against actions brought under the California Private Attorneys General Act. Jackson also defends employers against litigation on a variety of matters and helps them to mitigate risk through counseling the complex web of local, state, and federal laws governing the workplace.
Committed to his San Diego community, Jackson devotes part of his practice to pro bono service. He advises nonprofits on employment-related matters and represents them in litigation and has counseled victims of domestic violence through his work with the San Diego Volunteer Legal Program. Outside of his legal practice, Jackson gives back through his support of the Surfrider Foundation, a nonprofit organization that works to protect and preserve the world’s oceans, waves, and beaches, and the Carlsbad Rotary Club.
