Rachel Goodman Joins American Telemedicine Association Leadership Council
Foley & Lardner LLP partner Rachel Goodman has joined the American Telemedicine Association’s (ATA) Leadership Council.
As a member of the ATA’s Leadership Council, Goodman will convene with senior-level executives from top-tier member organizations to facilitate collaborative problem-solving and expedite practical solutions to today’s health care challenges. ATA Leadership Council members will meet twice each year to help health care leaders prepare their organizations for the future.
Goodman, a member of Foley’s Health Care Practice Group and national Telemedicine & Digital Health Industry team, represents a wide array of clients on transactional and related regulatory issues in the health care industry as well as matters involving telemedicine, digital health, remote patient monitoring, and virtual care. She regularly advises investors, entrepreneurs, and startup businesses on a variety of developing legal areas in the health care arena, including the creation and implementation of scalable telemedicine programs.
Foley is a corporate member and longtime supporter of ATA. Partner Nathaniel Lacktman, who is chair of the firm’s Telemedicine & Digital Health Industry Team, is a member of the ATA Board of Directors. In the last year, partner Thomas (T.J.) Ferrante was selected to serve on ATA’s Policy Council and senior counsel Aaron Maguregui, chair of the ATA’s Data Work Group, has helped lead the development of both ATA’s AI Principles and Health Data Privacy Principles.
