Of OpenAI’s reported plans to remove its longstanding profit cap on investor returns, Lehot said, “[Removing the profit cap is] a huge boon for the investors.”
With OpenAI’s transition from nonprofit to public benefit corporation raising questions, Lehot asked, “Who will be the guardrails to the public good?”
