Foley & Lardner LLP partner John Atallah is recognized as a DEIA Visionary by the Los Angeles Times.
Atallah is a litigator in Foley’s Los Angeles office who has handled cases in both state and federal courts across the country, representing clients in a variety of consumer protection, fraud, misappropriation, and breach-of-contract disputes.
Beyond his internal efforts at Foley, Atallah’s dedication to advancing equity is evident through his extensive pro bono work, particularly in disability rights and immigration matters. He has successfully advocated for improved accessibility for individuals with disabilities and handled asylum appeals and immigration cases, helping marginalized clients navigate complex legal challenges. As a member of the advisory board for the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles (LAFLA), he further demonstrates his commitment to ensuring access to justice for all, providing strategic guidance to enhance LAFLA’s impact on low-income individuals and families.
The Los Angeles Times’ DEIA Visionaries represent thought leaders who are overcoming significant headwinds, especially in the form of social backlash to diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility, to achieve their goals.
