Foley Advises Clinica Family Health in Merger with Mental Health Partners
Foley & Lardner LLP represented Colorado-based Clinica Family Health in its merger with Mental Health Partners, resulting in the formation of Clinica Family Health & Wellness. The newly established organization will provide integrated physical, mental, and oral health services across the northwestern Denver metro area.
Clinica Family Health is a federally qualified health center that provides primary and preventive health care, particularly to underserved populations, ensuring access to affordable care regardless of insurance status. Mental Health Partners is a nonprofit community mental health center focused on delivering vital mental health services to individuals and families in need.
The merger aims to enhance access to comprehensive health care services for underserved communities. By combining the organizations’ expertise, the newly formed Clinica Family Health & Wellness will facilitate seamless coordination among providers, address the complexities of the health care landscape, and eliminate barriers to care while enhancing patient experiences. With over a century of combined experience, the organizations share a commitment to health equity and plan to influence policies and funding structures to better serve those most in need.
The Foley deal team was led by partner James Miles and senior counsel Charles Gass and included partner Lisa Conmy and associate Joseph Simon.
