The Power List includes 27 of the state’s most influential and preeminent attorneys as selected entirely by Wisconsin Law Journal editorial staff.
Hatch is a real estate lawyer practicing extensively in the areas of real estate development, finance, restructuring and workouts, brownfields and other urban redevelopment, public-private partnerships, investment analysis and syndication, and historic rehabilitation. Across his fifty-year career at Foley, he has played a leading role in many of Milwaukee’s largest real estate deals. Equally devoted to giving back to his community, Hatch has been heavily involved in numerous nonprofit organizations, including Menomonee Valley Partners, Inc., a public-private partnership working to redevelop the largest brownfield in Wisconsin, and Near West Side Partners, Inc., another public-private partnership dedicated to revitalizing the seven neighborhoods to the north of the Menomonee Valley.
Rist represents financial institutions, land developers, investors, property owners, and managers across an array of real estate transactions, including property sales and acquisitions, real estate development and zoning matters, including mixed-use and residential condominium developments, and the negotiation of commercial and industrial leases. She concentrates her work in affordable housing development and finance.
Rupkey advises clients across a wide variety of real estate matters, including the sale, purchase, exchange, development, leasing, and financing of commercial real property. He also represents corporate clients in connection with the real estate aspects of mergers and acquisitions.
Weber has significant experience practicing commercial real estate and corporate law in Wisconsin, including previous roles serving as general counsel for a private commercial real estate company and for a large public real estate investment trust.
