Foley Adds Four Attorneys in Miami, Expanding Litigation Capabilities
Foley & Lardner LLP announced today that it has significantly enhanced its national litigation offerings with the addition of a highly accomplished team of attorneys to its Miami office. Joining Foley from Carlton Fields, the team includes partner Vanessa Singh Johannes in the firm’s Government Enforcement Defense & Investigations Practice, partner Charles Throckmorton in the Business Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice and Innovative Technology Sector, along with litigation associates Samantha Goldstein and Holli Gray.
“We are excited to welcome this talented team to Foley,” said Daljit Doogal, Foley CEO and Chairman. “Their extensive experience in complex litigation and government investigations will significantly enhance our ability to deliver strategic, results-driven solutions to clients nationwide. This addition is a critical step in expanding our national capabilities, strengthening our presence in Florida, and reinforcing our commitment to addressing the evolving needs of our clients across key markets and sectors.”
The group brings extensive experience in government investigations and complex litigation, focusing on technology, financial services, and compliance matters. They have represented clients in high-stakes matters, including fraud, cryptocurrency disputes, business torts, and government investigations. Their practice spans both civil and criminal litigation, as well as navigating complex regulatory challenges.
“The addition of Vanessa, Charles, and their team strengthens our Miami office and reinforces our ongoing growth in the region,” said Ruben Diaz, managing partner of Foley’s Miami office. “We look forward to the new opportunities this will create for our team and clients, both in Florida and across the country.”
The group’s arrival enhances Foley’s national Litigation Department and complements the firm’s team of over 400 dedicated litigation attorneys, who represent clients across a diverse array of industries both domestically and internationally.
“Joining Foley offers a unique opportunity to be part of a firm with a strong track record and a commitment to strategic growth,” said Singh Johannes. “We are excited to contribute to the firm’s success and be part of its expansion here in Miami.”
