Mark Neuberger Featured for Legal Career, Pro Bono Service
Foley & Lardner LLP of counsel Mark Neuberger is featured by Biscayne Bay Tribune for his distinguished legal career and commitment to pro bono service in the article, “From the Boardroom to the Arts: Mark Neuberger’s Unique Approach to Law.”
Neuberger, a member of Foley’s Labor & Employment Practice, is a founding member of the firm’s Miami office. Representing clients across the cannabis, health care, hospitality, manufacturing, and nonprofit sectors on all areas of employment law, Neuberger told Biscayne Bay Tribune how he meets both the business and legal needs of his clients.
“At the end of the day, my job isn’t just about avoiding lawsuits,” Neuberger explained. “It’s about helping companies run smarter and more efficiently. Understanding their business is just as important as knowing the law.”
He reflected on his enthusiasm for mentoring newer attorneys at Foley, emphasizing his appreciation for the energy they bring. “They come in with fresh perspectives, and I love that,” he added.
Describing his dedication to pro bono service, Neuberger touched on his prior cases, ranging from child dependency court cases to high-stakes international custody disputes under the Hague Convention. He also gives back to his Miami community through providing pro bono legal guidance to the Coconut Grove Arts Festival.
“I first got involved when the festival director called me about a vendor dispute,” Neuberger recalled. “That was 24 years ago. I’ve been part of it ever since!”
