Foley Adds Bankruptcy Partner Adrienne Walker in Boston, Strengthening Capabilities in the Health Care & Life Sciences Sector
Foley & Lardner LLP announced today that Adrienne Walker has joined the firm’s Boston office as a partner in its Bankruptcy & Business Reorganizations Practice Group and Health Care & Life Sciences Sector. Joining Foley from Troutman Pepper Locke, Walker brings more than 25 years of experience in business restructuring, commercial finance, workouts, and bankruptcy litigation.
“We are excited to welcome Adrienne to Foley,” said Geoff Goodman, chair of Foley’s Bankruptcy Practice. “Adrienne is nationally known for her talent, creativity, and experience in handling complex restructurings in all sectors of the economy, including in health care and other regulated industries. Her experience will be invaluable to both our national practice and our Boston office, further strengthening our ability to deliver results-driven solutions for clients involved in restructurings and other distressed situations.”
Walker has a proven track record advising clients across a wide range of industries, including health care, senior living including skilled nursing, manufacturing, education including charter schools and higher education, and hospitality. She has significant experience in distressed M&A, bankruptcy litigation, and out-of-court restructurings, offering clients strategic guidance through challenging financial situations.
Susan Pravda, chair of Foley’s Health Care & Life Sciences Sector, added, “Adrienne’s experience advising clients in the health care sector, along with her work on restructuring and financial distress matters, makes her a valuable addition to our team. As the health care and life sciences industries continue to face financial and regulatory challenges, Adrienne’s insights will further strengthen our ability to help clients navigate these complexities successfully.”
Walker also advises borrowers on private capital and secured financing transactions, often handling complex debt structures in distressed debt or restructuring scenarios. She represents a broad range of clients, including private capital investors, bondholders, bond trustees and agents, debtors, commercial lenders, and trade creditors in bankruptcy proceedings, receiverships, and out-of-court workouts.
“I’m excited to join Foley and work alongside such a talented group of attorneys,” said Walker. “The firm’s national platform and experienced team of bankruptcy practitioners provide an ideal environment to address the evolving needs of my clients. Additionally, Foley’s focus on key sectors such as health care, life sciences, and manufacturing aligns perfectly with my practice, and I look forward to contributing to the firm’s success in these areas.”
