Dania Abbasi is a litigator leveraging practical courtroom and international investigation experience to help clients manage complex legal disputes and cross-border risks. Dania’s practice focuses on defending clients in a broad range of commercial litigation matters, as well as helping companies—in sectors including energy, aerospace and defense, manufacturing, and technology—navigate complex regulatory issues regarding international trade and national security.
Dania’s experience includes counseling clients through internal investigations and government enforcement actions involving economic sanctions (OFAC), arms controls (ITAR), and export administration and antiboycott compliance (BIS). Dania also represents clients before the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS). She is a member of Foley’s Business Litigation & Dispute Resolution and Government Enforcement Defense & Investigations Practices.
During law school, Dania was a judicial intern to the Honorable Gray H. Miller of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas, as well as a student attorney at the University of Houston Law Center Civil Practice Clinic.
