Kelsey E. Annen is an associate and real estate business lawyer with Foley & Lardner LLP. Kelsey has experience in representing land developers, financial institutions, property owners and managers in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including the acquisition, development, financing and disposition of office, multi-family, mixed-use and industrial properties; tax credit projects involving low-income housing tax credits (LIHTCs) and historic preservation tax credits at the state and federal level; multi-level financing projects; leasing (with a emphasis on industrial leasing) and joint ventures.
Kelsey focuses her work in affordable housing development and finance, as well as leasing across office, industrial and retail spaces. She has experience representing non-profit organizations, for-profit developers, governmental agencies and lenders involved in the development of affordable multifamily housing and supportive living projects that use the syndication of low-income housing tax credits, rental subsidies, new market tax credits, governmental loans and grant programs, including HOME loans, USDA Rural Housing loans and FHLB Affordable Housing Program grants. Kelsey has experience representing REITs, landowners and developers in all types of leasing, particularly industrial leasing and analysis of the acquisition and disposition of industrial lease portfolios.
