Jessie Chiasson is a member of Business Litigation and Dispute Resolution Practice.

Jessie began at Foley as a summer associate. During her time, she drafted various memoranda regarding franchise law matters, international assignment judgments, and the impact of the United States Supreme Court Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization decision. During law school, Jessie also served as a legal extern for the Military Commissions Defense Organization, a joint command formed to provide criminal defense representation for unprivileged enemy belligerents held at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, and charged with offenses in violation of the laws of war. In this capacity, she researched and drafted several memoranda on topics including the application of the Sixth Amendment to military commissions, FBI operations, and the Rendition, Detention, and Interrogation Program, among others. She was also a legal intern for the Human Rights Clinic at the University of Miami School of Law where she was part of a team that drafted a merits petition to present before the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights.
