Kate A. Clendenen
Law Graduate
Kate Clendenen is a law graduate in the firm’s New York office and a member of the Business Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice group.
During law school, Kate worked as a judicial extern for the Hon. Edward J. Davila of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California. She composed six orders that the court published, and helped initiate the Northern District’s endeavor to recruit more diverse law students. Kate also served as an editor of the Annual Survey of American Law for two years and as the Partnership & Diversity Co-Chair for Law Women at NYU School of Law.
Prior to law school, Kate worked as a Law Clerk for the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, a Legal Intern for the Santa Clara County Public Defender’s Office, and a Legal Intern for the Social Justice Collaborative in the Bay Area. Kate also lived in Ecuador, where she volunteered full-time for Manna Project International, a local nonprofit focused on sustainable community development.
Kate is a former summer associate with Foley, and she speaks Spanish.
