Timothy R. Gamache

Timothy Gamache, Ph.D., is a patent agent for the Intellectual Property Department at Foley & Lardner LLP. Dr. Gamache is based in the firm’s Boston office where he is a member of the firm’s Chemical, Biotech & Pharmaceutical Practice Group. Prior to working at Foley, Dr. Gamache served as a patent scientist for another law firm.
Dr. Gamache draws on his interdisciplinary research experience to assist clients in the preparation and prosecution of patent applications. During his Ph.D., he studied protein dynamics in neuronal synapses, making use of a range of technologies in molecular and cell biology spanning protein biochemistry and live-cell imaging methods. Prior to graduate school, Dr. Gamache studied neuronal mitochondrial function in the context of Alzheimer’s disease and diabetes.
