Erin Hoffert’s corporate transactional practice focuses on complex mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and other equity financings, and general corporate governance matters across a range of sectors. Her experience includes the areas of defense, government services, cybersecurity, data analytics, enterprise software, fintech, hospitality, and life sciences. She is a senior counsel in the firm’s Transactions Practice.

Erin routinely leads both buy-side and sell-side M&A deals for public and private companies. She has advised numerous large serial acquirers who use M&A as a growth strategy, as well as emerging companies throughout every stage of the corporate life cycle — from counseling startups on initial formation and seed funding, to late-stage equity investments and exit transactions.

She works with companies, entrepreneurs, and investors on various equity transactions, including private equity and venture capital financings, warrant and promissory note issuances, tender offers, and stock repurchases. For her emerging company clients, Erin also acts as a trusted advisor and a go-to resource on corporate governance matters and other strategic transactions.

Prior to joining Foley, Erin was a senior corporate associate at an international corporate law firm.
