Heather Lee focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation, white collar criminal defense, and securities actions. She is dedicated to helping her clients find efficient and creative solutions to complex problems, with a sensitivity to and understanding of their business concerns. She carefully considers all angles of litigation and government investigations to provide thoughtful advice about nuanced issues. Heather regularly defends clients facing a broad range of criminal charges, government investigations, and regulatory enforcement actions. Whether it’s an expansive, multi-million dollar fraud investigation or a routine response to a grand jury subpoena, Heather’s attention to her clients is unwavering and unmatched.
Heather’s experience includes defending clients facing securities fraud class actions, RICO claims, and heath care, mail, and wire fraud charges. Heather also represents auditors responding to PCAOB and SEC inquiries and investigations. Additionally, Heather maintains a robust commercial litigation practice, assisting clients in federal and state courts and before the arbitration tribunals in pursuing or defending claims against business adversaries. Heather is particularly interested in civil fraud matters and has helped clients successfully defend against claims of fraudulent inducement and defeat attempts to assert alter ego liability. She also handles appeals before state and federal appellate courts.
Before completing law school, Heather was a summer associate with Foley.
