Jared Pliner is an associate in the litigation department of Foley & Lardner LLP. Jared is based in the firm’s Boston office, where he is a member of the Business Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice.
Jared represents clients across sectors in fraud, breach of contract, and environmental damage matters. He also defends clients against False Claims Act and other federal and state enforcement actions and has experience with internal compliance investigations.
Jared began his career at Foley as a summer associate. He served as a judicial intern to Chief Judge John J. McConnell, Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the District of Rhode Island and Justice David A. Lowy of the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court.
Prior to a career in law, Jared was a journalist for nearly a decade and a paralegal specializing in complex immigration petitions on behalf of scientists and engineers.
