Isabel Puchner is a registered patent agent and brings multidisciplinary experience in physics and economics to her role as a patent engineer in Foley’s Electronics Practice, providing crucial support to clients throughout the patent application process. Isabel incorporates her robust research experience to assist clients in the counseling, preparation, and prosecution of patent applications that include artificial intelligence (AI) technologies. She has particular experience in customer-facing financial platforms such as mobile banking applications and has worked on the back end of financial computing systems and enterprise resource platforms. Additional experience includes protecting AI innovations in the building management systems and medical devices industries.

Before Isabel’s last year at the University of Virginia, she participated in Foley’s summer patent engineer program.
