Geoffrey Raux represents a variety of clients in the business and health care sectors. His practice concentrates on complex commercial litigation, health care disputes, internal investigations and government compliance, private company and shareholder disputes, and securities litigation. Geoff also has extensive experience in Medicare and Medicaid appeals and reimbursement litigation, as well as significant trial and arbitration experience including litigating cases to verdict in both state and federal courts. He is a partner in the firm’s Business Litigation & Dispute Resolution and Securities Enforcement & Litigation Practices as well as the Health Care & Life Sciences Sector.
Prior to joining Foley, Geoff was an associate with the New York office of another law firm. He was involved in several civil and criminal litigation matters including white collar criminal defense and False Claims Act litigation.

Geoff served as a military intelligence officer in the United States Army Reserves, assigned to the 8th Brigade, 98th Division, where he was an assistant professor of military science teaching at Northeastern University and Boston College. Geoff was Airborne qualified and held a top-secret security clearance.

Geoff has lectured and published on a variety of areas including research misconduct and False Claims Act implications, key issues arising in commercial contractual disputes, reducing securities exposure in investor announcements and publications, negotiating and drafting clinical trial agreements, navigating payor-provider litigation, and responding to government subpoenas and civil investigative demands.
