Ryan M. K. Riffle
Associate
Ryan Riffle focuses his practice on the development, financing, purchase, and sale of energy projects, primarily in the renewable energy industry. Ryan regularly represents investors, lenders, sponsors, and developers in project finance transactions, including sale-leasebacks, partnership flips, and purchase and sale transactions. Ryan also has extensive experience negotiating and reviewing a variety of project documents, including service contracts, and construction and procurement contracts. He is a member of the Finance Practice and the Energy Sector.
Additionally, Ryan has advised clients as issuer’s counsel on matters relating to public and private asset-backed securitizations involving various asset types, including motorcycle receivables and student loans.
Prior to joining Foley, Ryan served as a judicial extern for the Hon. Michael Mihm of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of Illinois. During law school, he was a summer associate with Foley.
