John P. Riley

Associate

John (J.P.) Riley is a member of our Business Litigation and Dispute Resolution Practice Group and is based in our San Diego office.

J.P. began at Foley as a summer associate where he engaged in complex litigation matters, assisting in the preparation of legal documents and case strategies. Prior to joining Foley, J.P. served as a Certified Legal Intern at the California Attorney General’s Office, where he argued before the California Courts of Appeal. He also served as a law clerk in the Civil Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of California, gaining invaluable insights into federal litigation and investigative work.

Prior to law school, J.P. was a high school music teacher in San Diego.
