Tam works in the Litigation department and is part of the Business Litigation and Dispute Resolution Practice Group. Before joining Foley, he externed for the Honorable Otis D. Wright II for the U.S. District Court: Central District of California. In this position, he synthesized several court orders and researched diverse areas of state and federal law.
While in law school, Tam gained experience with the Boston College Law School Immigration Clinic. As a student practitioner, he secured victories for clients seeking relief from removal proceedings and pursuing asylum claims. He also served as the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Chair for the Boston College Law Review. Prior to law school, Tam worked as a family law advocate in the Jean Crowe Advocacy Center of the City of Nashville’s Office of Family Safety. Tam began his career at Foley as a summer associate in 2022.
