Rail Transport Regulatory

We counsel and represent Class I freight carriers, commuter rail and high-speed intercity passenger services, transportation authorities, and shortline railroads on virtually all rail transport regulatory issues. Our experience covers the spectrum of federal regulatory agencies with jurisdiction over freight rail and passenger services, including the Surface Transportation Board (STB) and other agencies within the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), such as the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA), Federal Transit Administration (FTA), and Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA).
