Brandon Livengood focuses his practice on providing counsel to matters related to federal, state, and local government. He has represented government employees and agencies in a range of civil rights litigation. He has experience in managing an extensive litigation docket for Texas law enforcement clients in defensive matters, primarily including 28 U.S.C. § 1983 claims (1st, 4^th, and 8th Amendment violations), RLUIPA claims, and civil rights matters generally, as well as state-based claims under the Texas Tort Claims Act. In addition, he has substantial experience practicing in Texas federal and state courts.

Prior to joining Foley, Brandon served in the Law Enforcement Defense Division of the Office of the Attorney General of Texas and in the Litigation Division of the City of Austin. He uses this government experience to best serve and counsel his clients.
